What is the castle floor made of? Is the walking surface slippery?
The walking surface throughout Ice Castles is made up of crushed ice and snow. The feeling is much like walking on a sandy or gravelly beach where some places are compact and others are several inches thick of ice/snow. Weather conditions also affect the walking surface, and our crews work hard to ensure walking surfaces are not slippery.
